Abstract
The majority of Turkey's territory is located in Anatolia, which has hosted many civilizations. It aims to advance in culinary tourism by turning this hosting into an advantage as cultural richness and diversity of local flavors in its cuisine. The literature suggests that in order to be successful in culinary tourism and to create a positive image, first of all, the resources must be determined and they should be used effectively. Erzurum cuisine also contributes to Turkey's unique cultural heritage with many important traditional products. Therefore, this study focuses on the culinary culture of Erzurum, which reflects the Turkish culinary culture and characteristics to a large extent, and aims to attract the attention of gastro tourists who are in pursuit of flavor by revealing its past and current situation. It is also aimed to increase the attractiveness of the culinary culture by recording the tools used in the traditional production of food, food and beverages, which have an important place in Erzurum culinary culture. In this way, the resources owned were revealed and suggestions were developed to the relevant stakeholders and policy makers in order to use them effectively in culinary tourism.
