Abstract

It is seen that all sectors have gained significant gains with the developments in artificial intelligence technologies. The tourism sector has also become one of these sectors where artificial intelligence technologies are used. Developments in artificial intelligence technologies are important developments in terms of eliminating the disruptions that could be experienced in the management and service delivery processes for the tourism sector. As a result of these developments, managers and employees could be provided with convenience for all industries within the tourism sector, especially accommodation, travel, aviation and museums. It has become possible to collect information about customers and provide them with special services in line with this information with these technologies based on digitalization. In addition, services such as enabling customers to make reservations for tourism businesses, providing services such as carrying luggage to customers, taking orders and serving food and beverages through artificial intelligence-supported robots, and providing information by robots in museums and airports could be provided through these technologies. This study examines the effects of artificial intelligence technologies and robotics in the tourism sector. The study aims to reveal the place of artificial intelligence technologies and robotics in the tourism sector. For this purpose, a conceptual study has been tried to be carried out by scanning secondary data.
